No, you cannot use HEETS in the IQOS ILUMA Prime. The ILUMA Prime heats tobacco by induction and has no heating blade. It only works with TEREA sticks. HEETS are made for older blade devices, so they will not heat properly in an ILUMA Prime and can damage it.

How the ILUMA Prime Heats Tobacco

The IQOS ILUMA Prime uses the SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM. Instead of a blade, it heats a small metal part sealed inside each TEREA stick. This heats the tobacco from the inside without burning it. HEETS have no metal part, so the ILUMA Prime cannot heat them.

What Happens If You Try HEETS in an ILUMA Prime

The device will not heat the stick properly, so you get no proper session. Forcing a stick that is not made for the device can also cause faults and may affect the warranty. The same goes the other way: never use TEREA in a blade device.

TEREA Options for HEETS Users

If you are moving from HEETS to an ILUMA Prime, many TEREA flavours have names you already know, such as Amber, Blue, Sienna and Yellow. Browse all TEREA sticks or read our TEREA flavour guide to find a close match.

Still choosing a device? See our IQOS ILUMA range and the newer ILUMA i devices. Delivery is free on orders of AED 200 or more, anywhere in the UAE.
