Can I Smoke HEETS Like Regular Cigarettes?

No, you cannot smoke HEETS like regular cigarettes. HEETS are not made to be lit with a flame. They are tobacco sticks designed to be heated inside an IQOS device with a heating blade. Lighting one will not give you the intended taste and it is not how the product is meant to be used.
Why HEETS Need an IQOS Device
A cigarette burns tobacco. HEETS work differently. The IQOS device heats the tobacco to a controlled temperature, up to about 350°C, without burning it. The tobacco in HEETS is processed for this kind of heating, so it does not burn evenly or taste right when lit.
HEETS fit IQOS devices with a heating blade, such as the IQOS 3 DUO, IQOS 3 Multi and IQOS Originals. They do not fit IQOS ILUMA devices, which use TEREA sticks.

Common Mistakes When Switching
- Lighting the stick: this wastes the stick and gives a poor taste.
- Using the wrong device: HEETS go in blade devices only. Do not use them in an ILUMA.
- Puffing too hard: start with slow, gentle puffs. The taste is different from a cigarette and takes a few sessions to get used to.
- Skipping cleaning: residue on the blade changes the taste. Clean the holder regularly.
