The first puff is dry roasted tobacco with a woody edge. Nothing sweet, nothing cooling. Around the middle of the stick the body fills out and a light malty warmth comes through, closer to a cigar than a cigarette. The finish is clean with a faint tea note and no burnt aftertaste.

Which devices it works with

TEREA sticks carry a metal element inside the stick. The device heats that element by induction, so nothing is inserted into the tobacco and no residue builds up. Our guide on how SMARTCORE induction works explains the mechanism in more detail.

Works with IQOS ILUMA Standard, ILUMA One, ILUMA Prime and the whole ILUMA i series.

It does not work with IQOS 3 DUO, IQOS 3 Multi, IQOS Originals, IQOS 2.4 Plus or LAMBDA devices. Those are blade heaters and need HEETS sticks instead. If you are unsure which family you own, read the difference between HEETS and TEREA.

Nicotine and how it compares to a cigarette

Each stick delivers 0.5 mg of nicotine and lasts up to 14 puffs or about six minutes, whichever ends first. The device then stops heating on its own.
