TEREA flavours explained

TEREA flavours are heated tobacco sticks made by Philip Morris International for IQOS ILUMA devices. We stock 41 of them in the UAE across five market editions, priced from 120 AED to 239 AED per carton of 200 sticks.

They split into four families: classic tobacco, menthol, flavoured menthol and Pearl capsules. Every stick carries roughly 0.5 mg of nicotine, so the family and the flavor name tell you about taste, never about strength of dose.

How TEREA flavours work

Each TEREA stick has a stainless steel susceptor sealed inside the tobacco plug. An IQOS ILUMA device heats that element by induction, warming the tobacco from within instead of burning it. This is the Smartcore Induction System, and it is why ILUMA has no blade to clean.

One stick gives up to 14 puffs, around 6 minutes. Because nothing combusts, there is no ash and far less lingering smell than a cigarette.

TEREA does not work with blade-based models such as IQOS 3 DUO, IQOS 3 Multi or IQOS Originals. Those take HEETS instead. Compatible devices are IQOS ILUMA, ILUMA One, ILUMA Prime, the full ILUMA i range, and LAMBDA i8 and i9.

TEREA flavours by colour

Most people shop by pack colour, so this is the fastest way in. Each colour is a flavor family rather than a nicotine level.

Black-prefixed names sit one step above their standard version. Black Menthol is the coldest stick we sell at 5 out of 5, and Black Purple and Black Yellow match it while adding berry or citrus.

The stick, the device compatibility and the nicotine content do not change between markets. What changes is which flavours exist and what a carton costs.

Indonesia costs roughly half per stick what Japan does. The trade-off is choice: Japan carries 19 flavours, Indonesia 10.

Do all TEREA flavours have the same nicotine?

Yes. Every TEREA stick, in every flavour and every market edition, contains approximately 0.5 mg of nicotine. Yellow and Bold Regular deliver the same dose.

Pack colour is a flavour signal, not a nicotine ladder. What makes one stick feel stronger than another is tobacco body, menthol throat feel and aroma weight. If a stick feels thin after switching from cigarettes, move to a heavier blend rather than looking for a higher nicotine version, because there is not one. Storing TEREA flavours in UAE heat

Summer temperatures do affect tobacco. Keep cartons sealed in their original packaging between 18 and 24 degrees Celsius, out of direct sunlight and out of the fridge, since moisture flattens the draw. A pack left in a parked car for an afternoon will taste noticeably duller. Check the best before date on the carton and finish an opened pack within a few weeks.
