TEREA Black Menthol

Description

TEREA Black Menthol is the coldest stick in the Japanese TEREA range. It has no fruit and no sweetness on top, just a sharp menthol hit over a full tobacco base. It comes in a factory sealed carton of 200 sticks for AED 239 and works in IQOS ILUMA and other induction devices. If most menthol sticks feel too mild to you, this is the one to try.

Quick Verdict

• Strongest cooling in the TEREA Japan lineup
• No sweetness or added flavour
• Full tobacco body with a dry finish
• Not ideal as a first stick if strong cooling bothers your throat

How Strong Is TEREA Black Menthol?

The cooling starts on the first puff and lasts to the last. Standard TEREA Menthol smells fresh. Black Menthol gives a real cold feeling in the throat, close to what heavy menthol cigarette smokers know. Draw slowly: fast, hard puffs make the cold feel harsh without adding flavour.

Stronger cooling does not mean more nicotine. Each stick has about 0.5 mg, the same as other TEREA sticks. See nicotine content for details.

The TEREA Black Range Explained

“Black” on a TEREA pack marks the high cooling line. The colour after it tells you what flavour is added. Black Menthol has nothing added.

Stick	Cooling	Added flavour
Black Menthol	Very strong	None
Black Yellow Menthol	Strong	Citrus
Black Purple Menthol	Strong	Dark berry
Black Green (Indonesia)	Strong	Green mint

Want less cold? Try Yellow Menthol or Bright Menthol. For softer options there is Fusion Menthol and Tropical Menthol. Oasis Pearl has a capsule you can click, and Rich Regular gives a similar tobacco body without menthol. Our TEREA strength guide ranks the full range.

Is There a HEETS Black Menthol?

No. The Black edition only exists as TEREA. If you have a blade device, look at the HEETS range. Read HEETS vs TEREA to see why they are not interchangeable.

It does not work in blade devices like IQOS 3 DUO or IQOS Originals. Compare devices in ILUMA vs ILUMA i and ILUMA, Prime and One.

Using and Storing It

Keep your device charged, insert the stick straight without twisting, wait for the signal, then draw slowly. New to IQOS? See our step by step guide and the ILUMA cleaning guide. If sticks taste weak, check the battery (battery guide) and how the packs were stored. Keep cartons indoors and out of the sun, never in a parked car.
