TEREA Turquoise Kazakhstan is a menthol stick built for the IQOS ILUMA range. Philip Morris describes the Kazakhstan version as lightly roasted tobacco with menthol notes, and that is close to how it actually smokes. The mint is clean rather than sharp. If you have tried TEREA Blue and found the peppermint too aggressive, Turquoise is the step down you were looking for. What TEREA Turquoise tastes like

The first draw is cool mint over a light roasted tobacco base. Cooling sits at medium and holds steady for the full session instead of fading after the first few puffs. There is a faint zesty edge at the finish that separates it from a plain mint stick.

Regular users describe it as light. That is the point of this variant. It does not build up the way a strong peppermint stick does, so a second or third session back to back still tastes clean. Users coming from menthol cigarettes usually find it comfortable within a pack or two. Users chasing a hard menthol hit will find it too soft and should look at TEREA Blue instead.

How Turquoise compares to other Kazakhstan menthols

Blue and Turquoise are the two most confused. Blue leads with peppermint and the tobacco sits behind it. Turquoise keeps the tobacco audible and lets the menthol ride on top. Kazakhstan Turquoise versus the UAE and Armenian versions

Turquoise is sold in several markets and the packs look almost identical, which causes a lot of ordering mistakes. The blend is the same family, but the batch, the pack language and the regulatory text differ by market. Kazakhstan packs carry Russian and Kazakh text. Price also differs: the Kazakhstan carton is the cheaper of the two at AED 125 against AED 155 for the UAE edition.

Which devices Turquoise works with

TEREA sticks heat through SMARTCORE Induction. The heating element is inside the stick, so the device warms it with an induction coil rather than pushing a blade into the tobacco. Nothing scrapes the inside of the holder, so there is no residue to clean out after a pack.

Works with the IQOS ILUMA Standard, ILUMA One, ILUMA Prime, ILUMA i Standard, ILUMA i One and ILUMA i Prime.

It does not work with the IQOS 3 DUO, IQOS Originals, LAMBDA or lil devices. Those are blade heaters and need HEETS sticks instead. How to use it

1. Charge the ILUMA device. Turquoise does not need any special setting.
2. Slide the cap open and push one stick in with the filter facing out.
3. Close the cap. The device starts heating and signals with a vibration or light when it is ready.
4. Draw gently. Hard pulls do not add flavor on an induction heater and tend to dry the menthol out.
5. The session ends at roughly 14 puffs or six minutes, whichever comes first.
6. Pull the used stick straight out and bin it. No cleaning tool needed between sticks.

Nicotine and session details

Each stick carries 0.5 mg of nicotine, the standard figure across the TEREA range, so switching between flavors does not change the strength. The tobacco is heated rather than burned, which means no ash and no combustion smoke. The smell is lighter than a cigarette and clears from a room faster, though it is not odourless. Storing sticks in UAE heat

Menthol is the first thing to go when a carton overheats. A pack left on a dashboard through a Dubai afternoon will taste flat and dry by evening, and no amount of storage after that brings the cooling back. No. It is a medium cooling stick. Blue is the strong one in the Kazakhstan range. Several users describe Turquoise as light, which is why it works for all day use.
